Description: Partway through the second dive, we came across an anchor that had been dragging through the coral reef. Our guide freed it from the coral and threw it into the sand, where it cannot hurt anything. Negligent boaters often cast their anchors into coral, destroying hundreds of years of progress to the beauty under the sea! These two dives were only my first since my certification (ignoring some pool practice), and I was quite surprised with how gorgeous the water looked and how many different species of fish we found. I also had a much better time equalizing and was able to do it hands-free on the second dive, to my complete surprise! Overall it was a fun day on the seas!
